In our trainings, we create a CULTURE that allows for incredible personal examination, life long change and establishment of passion and the desire to live every day of life LIKE IT MATTERS.   People accomplish more, and become closer to the “George Bernhard Shaw they could’ve been”.  Creating that same culture outside of the classroom doors has been difficult, and now our mission is to create corporate cultures that allow for the same level of results and satisfaction that was experienced graduating from Leadership Awakening and Leadership Adventure. Our History as Empower U, International and Our Future as Like It Matters, LLC.

For the last 20 years we have provided some of the most powerful Leadership training available.  Over that time we have learned in the classroom of experience, in the trenches of the hearts and souls of our graduates.  We have helped engage leaders in the battle against mediocrity, against GOODNUFF.  We have been a warrior fighting to help others believe in, and create a CULTURE that allows its members to live their lives with a “mindset” that belies GOODNUFF.  We have helped to rise up CULTURE WARRIORS, who are fighting the good fight with Passion, Commitment, Purpose and Vision. 

Over that time we have learned the Pattern of Success. We have created a model culture in our Transformational Trainings that allow individuals to get closer to their potential that they have yet to reach in their lives. Leaders experience a CULTURE of VISION, PURPOSE, PASSION, FOCUS, TEAMWORK and COMMITMENT. Once they experience this at the cellular level, they are forever changed. 

Empower U was instrumental in developing and mastering these trainings.  Over the years we have impacted over 10,000 people and their lives are better today for the connection.  The weakness was always the Post process follow through; it was hard to continually be “on fire” for our lives. This was always the short coming of the great processes we developed at Empower U.  As my personal desire to fulfill my mission, it is time to RE-CALIBRATE and RE-FOCUS and to START ANEW and “RAISE THE BAR”.  It is time to for me to walk with leaders after and between Leadership classes.

Empower U’s sun is setting, the doors will be closing.  From the obituary of EU, Like It Matters has risen.  The sun is rising on LIKE IT MATTERS!  Our goal is to use the vast knowledge, experience and training of the last 20 years as a catalyst to continue the pattern in their personal and professional lives.  The difference is to now use our TRANSFORMATIONAL Leadership Training as a piece of the process, not the end sum of the process.  Where Empower U fell short, Like It Matters will come into being and fill the gap. 

The Transformational Leadership Training we do is the most powerful training available.  Our Leadership classes allow us to create a vibrant culture that allows for optimum growth and performance.  We apply the same foundation of Lean Sigma and CANI, to the greatest asset of any team; the hearts and minds of its people!  The training creates a “threshold” experience, achieving more than most think probable or possible.  The experience becomes a great ”frame of reference”, an experience that we can refer to, to use to understand and to use as “proof” that great change, great outcomes are available.  We MUST BELIEVE IT TO SEE IT! However, without proper follow through, constant remembering, and diligent continued re-”minding”…it will never sustain itself.  The real world is so different, decay starts immediately. 

We are now incorporating a structured program into our training, where we can “walk together” and help people continue to Live Life Like It Matters! This new program incorporates all of the following:
